Slip On Flanges Suppliers – Top Quality Slip On Flanges Manufacturers in India!

  • Asiamet is a one of the largest manufacturer, supplier and exporter of slip on flanges in India. Slip on flanges have an inferior preliminary cost than welding neck flanges for the reason that they need less accurateness in wounding pipe to length and they offer a superior ease of arrangement in assemblage. However their designed strength under core pressure is about two thirds the power of welding neck flanges and their life under exhaustion is one third smaller.
  • Our offered range is manufactured using best quality raw material. The physical and chemical properties of this range are best among the other available options. Our slip on flanges can further be customized in terms of thicknesses, sizes and specifications as per the specific requirements of our clients. We offer these flanges at market leading prices.
  • The calculated strength from a slip on flange under internal pressure is of the order of two thirds that of welding neck flanges and their life under fatigue is about one-third that of the latter. The connection with the pipe is done with 2 fillet welds as well at the outside as also at the inside of the flange.
  • Slip on flange as the meaning of name is a flange slipping on the pipe or fitting when connection. The pipe should be inserting the flange inner bore and leave a bit distance from the face of the flange to make sure it will not affect the sealing of two flanges. The inner bore of the slip on flange is a little larger than the pipe OD to make sure the pipe or fitting end can slip into the flange.

What is a Slip-On Flanges?

Slip on flanges are designed to slip over the outside of pipe, long tangent elbows, reducers and swags. The flange has poor resistance to shock and vibration. It is easier to align than a weld neck flange. This flange is ideal for low pressure applications since the strength when under internal pressure is about one third that of a weld neck flange. The slip on flange is positioned so the inserted end of the pipe or fitting is set back or short of the flange face by the thickness of the pipe wall plus 1/8 of an inch. This allows for a fillet weld inside the slip on flange equal to the thickness of the pipe wall without doing any damage to the flange face. The back or outside of the flange is also welded with a fillet weld.
